There are four ways in. Pick whichever suits the time you have.
Build the sculpture
The simplest way in. Drop by during open hours and add, assemble or help shape the central installation. Nothing to book, nothing to pay, no skills assumed. You can also bring materials, stories or memories to contribute to it.
Host an activity
Bring your workshop, performance or creative passion to the festival, at our space or anywhere in the greater Mombasa area. Experienced practitioners and complete beginners are equally welcome. Hosts are featured across our promotional channels, gain exposure, and get opportunities to exhibit their work.
Join the organising team
No experience is needed to join. We are also looking for skilled mentors and professionals to contribute their expertise and help guide the project alongside people eager to learn and grow.
Team members shape (ART)ONEMENT from the ground up, gain professional development from experienced practitioners, and receive a certificate of skill and work development.
Roles are flexible. You can contribute a single two-hour shift during open hours, or join a working group with a regular commitment of five to ten hours a week or more.
Donate materials or support the festival
Reclaimed timber, textiles, non-toxic paint, tools, stationery, food to share, or help with photography and writing. All of it goes straight into the festival.
